All eras of music in one place. This is a must-have for your DJ company, Trivia, or Music Bingo events.Despite the fact that we all were born in different eras, one thing we can all agree is that there are some songs from every era starting from the 60s all the way to the early 2000s that stay in our head for so long and just makes us want to play it all on repeat. We have so many incredible and talented music artists from those decades, featuring Maroon 5 from the early 2000s, the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin from the 60s, Black Sabbath and Dolly Parton from the 70s, Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen from the 80s, and bands like Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers from the 90s! So many amazing songs and artists! This game pack is definitely well worth the value, especially since you save up to 24% instead of buying these games separately.
Still thinking about the potential ideas with this mega game pack? Here are some amazing ideas for every era in this game pack! The important thing to remember about these game packs is the fact that this is fun in a party or if you’re running a bar, you can certainly have so many music bingo nights with this. Now, if you’re going to be running any one of the eras in this pack, you’ll need matching decorations to go with each to set the mood and vibe in the room. Let’s start from the bottom up. The 60s had a very diverse and bright set of decor to begin with. You can put up a ton of lava lamps across the room, tie-dyes and photos of posters of Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and other popular music bands and artists. Popular color schemes during the 60s were colors like coral, mustard, turquoise among many. Obviously, being able to add a peace sign or a massive light up peace sign. Alternatively, using neon signs would also be a good decorative piece. would be great! Next, the 70s. You could reuse some decorative pieces from the 60s here and that’d definitely help with cost if you plan hosting another party after the 60s. You can have a massive disco ball hanging from the ceiling with strobe lights and smoke machines to complement it. Instead of hanging frames of music artists and bands, you can instead use disco vinyl records and some incredibly (but not obnoxiously) bright colored table cloths as well. The 80s is a fairly easy era to work with in terms of decorations. During the 80s, neon colors were incredibly popular and using those colors would definitely go a long way in making an 80s based theme more authentic. Every invite, every club back in the day was filled with neon color decor. You certainly will be hitting the brief of an 80s themed party. Consider using black as well for contrast. Another cool thing that can be used as decor is essentially an arcade game or even a photo booth. That’ll be nailing the brief! As for the 90s, well that again could be done easily! You can throw some confetti squares and triangles around. You can also hang some old 90s technology like floppy disks or CDs or maybe even VHS tapes! Even small things like Magic 8 Balls can be used as centerpieces on the table. If possible, you can rent a classic arcade game like Pac Man or Street Fighter and that provides both functionality and aesthetics to the party. You can apply the same 90s decor for a 2000s themed party as well, though less confetti would be a nice touch. The early 2000s were a much simpler time than the one we live in right now. The internet was still growing and new consoles were out in the market. Instead of using arcades, you can pick up a PlayStation 1 or the original Xbox since that was around the time these new generations of consoles came out. You can also use some old CDs again or you can play the songs on a DVD player, if that’s possible! Now that we are sorted on the decor part of the party, let’s move on to the dress code for each era. For the 60s, loose and comfortable was something that was popular back then. Women can wear long skirts in earthy colors like brown or with patterns. Men can wear clothes like a vest, jeans in brown or darker tones. Obviously, both men and women can wear bell bottom jeans and if you want to, you can wear a poncho, especially if you will be having the party outside. Next up, the 70s. The main emphasis here was bell-bottom pants, floral shirts and psychedelic and geometric prints. It isn’t massively different compared to the 60s so you could reuse some things. Some clothes like an army jacket, gaucho pants, tight corduroy are some ideas that you can look for. Afro and mullets were famous back then, if you want to change your hairstyle. As for the 80s, you can ask your guests to wear leg warmers, animal prints clothes and a lot of neon colored clothes. You can also ask them to come as their favorite 80s musicians as well, making things interesting. Some ideas are lace blouses, ripped jeans and clothes along those lines. The 90s is an interesting time. Mom jeans, cargo pants and bike shorts were incredibly famous back then. Crop tops and pleated skirts (similar to the one in the movie, Clueless?) were famous as well. Your guests can draw inspiration from the popular TV show, Friends as well. The 2000s was where denim started to trend. You can expect your guests to wear bright colored and shiny outfits. They can also wear cardigans, a denim jacket along with a pair of denim jeans and also velour track sets. One thing for sure is that your guests can wear a lot of denim based products! Those are some basic ideas you can use for your amazing themed music bingo party! Additionally, to make things more interesting, you can award your guests in some manner, either if they win or being the best dressed or simple things like that. For every era, you can give them small things like a disco ball keychain, an old console like the PS1, scrunchies, just small things that are actually reminiscent of the particular era. These are some ideas that your guests would certainly enjoy for the Guitar Gods and if you have better ideas, feel free to let us know! You can find the playlist on every major music streaming platform like Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Happy music bingo!

Save money for some christmas Party games by downloading these awesome and wildly fun games!12/13/2021 It's that time of the year and thanks to the holiday period, you can save yourself a lot of money by downloading out awesome and fun party games!Written by:- Farhan Subi It’s Christmas time and I am sure you must’ve invited friends and family over to your place for some really good, soulful food and just spend some time with them. But what if there was a way to elevate that experience by a whole lot? Well, then you’ve come to the right place looking for that. There are tons of holiday themed party ideas out there but sometimes, it might be very expensive or just not something that you might be looking for. It could vary in a plethora of price ranges and it might not be feasible for everyone to be able to afford it. That’s where downloading and hosting your own Christmas holiday party would be a much better idea than actively looking for something that might be super expensive. For starters, if you’re on a tight budget, you could start off by not adding too much decorations around your home. You might have already decorated your home for the holiday period anyways and it doesn’t make sense to add too much decorations on top of it. Besides, simplicity is key to decorating your home. Add too much and your place could become like a flea market, and no one wants that, for sure. You could also skimp on invitations though, that is really up to you. It doesn’t necessarily make sense to make invitations but it’s really up to the host. If you do plan on calling a lot of people, you could make an evite since for starters, it is easy on the environment and you don’t need to spend so much money printing it and things like that. Just a simple e-vite would definitely help, if needed. Next up is food. Obviously, if you’re inviting them during the holiday period, chances are, you most definitely have food prepared though if you don’t, you could order some home-made food from restaurants or you and if your guests love cooking, you could whip out a dish that most people would definitely love and you could cook it with them! If you want to serve alcoholic beverages, limit the choices to wine and beer. This will help reduce your cost. For non-alcohol drinkers and designated drivers, you can always keep it simple and set up dispensers or pitchers filled with iced water with fruit slices and freshly brewed iced tea or serve hot cocoa with all the fixings such as marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, etc. And since it is the holiday period, eggnogs are popular as ever and can be used as well! One interesting game you could pick up is Secret Santa. You and your guests can pick a draw with each other and that’s where the fun begins! You could set a spending limit as low as you like and let people get creative. That way, your guests will only have to buy one gift instead of a gift for each guest. Also, if your budget allows, you could send your guests home with gifts such as ornaments or special sweet treats like fresh baked cookies or homemade candies. Another interesting party you could have is basically a wholesome Christmas movie! For instance, Home Alone has a reboot now. and it’s everyone’s favorite Christmas movie (well, almost.) There are plenty of movies that a family could watch together and it’s better if you have a subscription service to something like Netflix, Hulu or something along those lines, you’ll most likely have content curated for the holiday theme as well, so that’d be a great idea. But another great idea is basically just chilling around and playing a ton of games that everyone can enjoy regardless. One of them is basically our own games, here on Fat City Entertainment. We have Trivia which is actually one of the most popular games we have in our store. There are various topics to choose from and the feedback we’ve received has been incredibly great! You can check them out here if you ever are interested in that. We also have a Christmas Special Game Pack, which includes a simple knowledge trivia with 5 Christmas themed categories. Plus, it also includes bonus rounds as well! Another game includes Music Trivia which includes final challenges and bonus rounds as well. We also have a plethora of music trivia games and music bingo games as well! Music bingo is essentially a different take on bingo where instead of crossing out numbers, you cross out music based on what music the caller/DJ plays. That’s some of the games and holiday party ideas we have. We’d love to know if you have any more ideas. Feel free to mail us at questions@fatcityentertainment.com if you have any questions! Time to party! Feeling nostalgic? Want to travel back to the greatest era ever? Now you can! It's the 80s themed Music Bingo! The 80s was truly a great time to live and people who were born and grew up in that time would agree. It was simpler and the music made then was simply great! It still is timeless and even the current generation of artists are producing music that is reminiscent of the older style. This playlist features popular singers, including Michael Jackson, Phil Collins and famous bands like Queen, Wham! among many others. Some could say that this was the golden generation of music and some would agree. And most would certainly agree that an 80s themed music bingo party would definitely be an amazing idea! So to start things off, you’d need decorations. Decorations are key to any and every party. They set the mood and help people get into it as well. Imagine it being something like a kickstarter for a party. And for an 80s party, getting people into the mood is something that should be paid close attention to. During the 80s, neon colors were incredibly popular and was basically the theme. Every invite, every club back in the day was filled with neon color decor. You certainly will be hitting the brief of an 80s themed party. Consider using black as well for contrast. Another cool thing that can be used as decor is essentially an arcade game or even a photo booth. That’ll be nailing the brief! Of course, if you have a themed party, you need the right dress code. People during the 80s wore, what we would consider today, to be some of the wackiest and weirdest clothing options available. They’re loud and bright and everything in between. Some ideas are scrunchies, ripped jeans among many others. Ask guests to come in their favorite 80s creations. Be prepared to see plenty of legwarmers, neon, animal prints, and hot pink. Or if you want, ask your guests to come dressed as their favorite 80s actor, actress or even their favorite movie character! The possibilities are endless when it comes to playing dress up! Look at some pictures and get inspired! Next up, food. If you run a bar, you’d definitely have a lot of tables. The centerpiece for any table can be a simple Rubik’s Cube, 3x3 of course. Why? Well, during the 80s, Rubik’s Cubes peaked and you could find those nifty little thingamajigs in everyone’s hand, trying to solve it. And you can also set up a bar with some really colorful drinks. Swap out classics for some really bright and fun colored drinks, like a Midori Sour, for example. Besides, you can also have a candy bar for people that want to indulge in some of their favorite 80s candies, like Sour Patch Kids, Push Pops, Chupa Chups and more! It’s pretty evident that these candies can actually invoke nostalgia in the party and adds to how immersive the party is! And of course, the main thing - the music bingo! While playing the song, you can ask the guests or contestants or audience to dance to it if they want to. You could have some space allocated for that if you do have that much space. If you also wanted to, you can add a karaoke machine which would add a lot of fun and ask the audience or your guests to sing to it. People would love it if they could sing along to the song and also just create a fun atmosphere. A fun little touch to the party would also be to add the music bingo sheet on a neon colored paper. As a prize to the winner, you can hand them a Rubik's Cube which was, like we mentioned earlier above, was incredibly popular in the 80s. Finally, you need the invitations. If you’re the kind of person who goes all out, you know that invitations can bring a party together. It just feels like the bow on the tie. If you wanted to, similar to the music bingo sheets, you can print out the invitations or to be more precise, design the invitation around neon colors and splatter paint on it. You can also come up with your own amazing 80s based ideas and ensure that your guests have an amazing time! If you do have any great suggestions, feel free to let us know in the comments section below and if you need our playlists, you can find them on all major platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. Happy bingo! |
