Do you have regular parties with your oldest friends where things kinda get boring? We just created this new awesome Bingo Night game for you! If your friends loved the 70s (or even lived through them) this game is for them! Planning a 70s partySpice up your party making it full 70s theme! All you need is the following:
DecorThe 70s means disco, and nothing is more disco than a disco ball! You don't even have to spend that much on one, a simple and cheap one like this one hung from a thread with a couple of lights pointed to it should be perfect! You can also get some cheap disco lights to light up the party! This is also a great time to dust off some old vinyl records and lava lamps. Finally get all metallic balloons and streamers and bright-colored table cloths. You can also use some cheap fuzzy dice from a gas station and keep some 70s shows on the tv. Decor for the 70s can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it CostumesGetting a costume doesn't have to be expensive. The 70s were disastrous for fashion but very fun to play dress-up! Think of bad afros, giant platform shoes, round sunglasses, bell bottom pants and shiny, colorful make-up! You probably have some of that in your closet already, all you might need is a cheap afro wig and sideburns! Keep some of those laying around for guests to use. Extra points for anyone wearing roller skates! FoodYou can use any food sold in a roller skating rink, think hot dogs, nachos, casseroles and burgers. If you want to step it up a notch and really give your party an unforgettable twist, you can always try and prepare some dishes from that famous Buzzfeed post about weird 70s food. Keep in mind, unless they're truly Generation X, people may not like those so one or two dishes from there as a prop more than a main dish is probably your safest bet. Fun GamesYou can have the best food and decor with an audience that got in costume. All of that is meaningless if they aren't having fun! And what better way to ensure they're having fun than with an awesome 70s-themed music bingo!
Bingo was huge in the 70s so you and your guests can have a lot of fun while listening to Santana, ABBA and the Jackson 5! We curated a list so all you have to do is get the game, print the sheets and play! This is a perfect thing to have under your sleeve to know that, even if the food isn't great or your guests don't know each other very well, they'll come out knowing that they just had an amazing time! We made an amazing game for anyone who's a fan of bingo: Antonyms Music Bingo!
Playing "Antonyms", your friends will have to pay extra attention to their sheets! As the name suggests, the right answer is the direct opposite to the one written on the sheets. Say you're listening to "Seven Nation Army" by "The White Stripes". Instead of looking for "The White Stripes", look for the antonym, "The Black Dots"! Are you listening to "Start Me Up" by "The Rolling Stones"? Look for "The Motionless Pebbles! By adding just one more layer you'll get a moment of silence while people try to figure out the antonym and a growing laughter once they realize the answer! It's a perfect game to play towards the end once you've played a couple and people are getting too comfortable. Also great for people studying English and language experts! Give it a try right now! Go get "Music Bingo: Antonyms", now available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Prime! |
