  It's a Monday night and you and all of your friends are scattered among your separate residences with nothing to do. Perhaps one of you is cutting on your PlayStation 4 and another has dusted off their Nintendo Switch; all you know is that whatever you're doing, it's probably not going to be with people who don't live with you.
Luckily, Triv101 can change that. Triv101 is the newest trivia game out there for both trivia hosts and trivia enthusiasts alike. If you and your friends and family are looking for something new to do while you hunker down and ride out the COVID pandemic, this is definitely up your alley. What Makes Triv101 Unique? Let's be honest, even if you do want to go out and have a good time, your options are more limited than ever before. Things like movies, theme parks, bars, and pubs are pretty much a no go. On top of that, many people are just afraid to venture out so totally unrestrained. The beautiful thing about Triv101 is that you don't have to go anywhere. It's a web app screen game, so you don't have to get up from that nice butt groove you've made on your couch. A brilliant way to enjoy the game with all of your friends and family is through Zoom. For those of you who may not be familiar with the platform, Zoom allows people to virtually meet each other and collaborate on all sorts of projects. In this case, the screen sharing function will allow everyone to see the Triv101 board with ease. As a web app screen game, Triv101 is incredibly easy to stream Let's Plays with your friends on either YouTube or Twitch. You could think of it as hosting your own version of Jeopardy, except with a much less charismatic version of Alex Trebek. You can even project Triv101 to your tv for your and the family to play if you're all stuck at home together. After you've downloaded the game, you can simply connect your laptop to your tv via an HDMI cable and it'll show the game board. The digital, app-based nature of the game makes it easy for trivia lovers and bored people everywhere to get together and have a good time. The Basic Breakdown of the Game: Like all trivia games, you get questions and you answer them. That part is simple enough to grasp. But the basic structure of the game is a little more complex. There's actually two different versions of Triv101; the free version, we can call this one "basic" and the premium version. The basic version comes "prepackaged" with 350 questions. Now for true trivia enthusiasts, this might not be enough to get your nerd on. If you feel that you need more to fuel your trivia fix, the premium package has 1350 questions for you and your crew to crank your way through. Speaking of, "you and your crew", all of you can actually form into teams to put your knowledge against each other. The point system works much like a game of darts. While you can choose about of points to start with, the default is 101. Once settled on an amount of points, your goal is to get them down to zero. Who is Triv101 For? The obvious answer is, of course, trivia buffs. But, really, you can't go wrong with a few rounds of trivia questions regardless of who you are. You can have everyone get together on Zoom and host a social distancing trivia party or play a few rounds on the laptop with your roommates. There's likely many of you at home right now that are probably anxious and bored. Kicking back with friends and family while trying to guess your way through the answers can be an awesome way to get your mind off of what's going on outside. Triv101 is simple in its execution, but sometimes, simple is best. The true beauty of Triv101 is its versatility. The fact that it's a web app screen game makes it easy to play with others no matter where they might be. Before COVID-19, Triv101 is the kind of game that would have been great for bars and pubs. You could knock back a few cold ones and belt out your trivia knowledge loud and proud in front of everyone. With restrictions lifting, we may be able to see teams of people at parties and workplace gatherings play their way through rounds of Triv101. For now, it's ok to enjoy it from the comfort of your own couch.

Be it a video game, a tabletop game, a board game, or in this case a web app screen game; there's just something that really makes us want to give it a go. It's the ultimate trivia game for both trivia hosts and trivia enthusiasts alike and down below is a basic blow-by-blow account as to why that is. In a nutshell, there' a lot that makes this the ultimate trivia game, but don't worry, we'll start slow. To begin with, the game has an incredible amount of versatility. As previously stated, it's a web app screen game which essentially means it's a downloadable app that you can keep on your desktop or laptop to play whenever you want. What Makes Triv101 the "Ultimate Trivia Game"? The very nature of the game makes is really easy to share and play among friends and family. If you want to put the game on a larger screen - like your TV - you totally can. All you've got to do is connect your television to your computer with an HDMI cable and, voila! Everyone's got a picture-perfect view. If you want to flex your extraordinary trivia know-how for everyone to see, stream it on Twitch. Everyone and their grandmother use the streaming platform to show their skills and for Let's Plays, there's no reason why you couldn't do the same with Triv101. YouTube would work much the same way; stream yourselves (you, your friends, and family) having a good time showing off your smarts. You can just keep it simple and play each over Zoom as a fun way to keep in touch. Triv101 can be used in various ways but arguably the best trait of the game is the ability to be shared, displayed by, and played by multiple people at once. You can play it in pubs, at parties, it's excellent for team-building exercises, and yes, you can play it at home while social distancing. Needless to say, it's quite a bit different from the trivia games that people download onto their phones. There are so many ways to share and play Triv101 that it's in a breed all their own. Like any good game, there's more than just a single reason why anyone should play Triv101, really. One good motive, though, is so that you can stay in contact with distant loved ones. Right now, it's more important than ever to stay connected with friends and family during this time. It can serve as a terrific means of expanding your knowledge too. Some of the facts may be totally random, sure, but if you're a true trivia aficionado, that's a definite plus. Triv101 is an outstanding way to kill time too, a boring Friday night can go by in a flash answering question after question. There is really no wrong way to share or play Triv101, which is why it's such a good time. The versatility makes it plenty of fun. Meet - Google Many of our users have taken the initiative to create online events in the wake of covid-19. Here is some great advice from Jen M: "We have had so much fun! It’s given us something to look forward too! "For the family and friends that live in the same city I print all the cards (making sure I am washing my hands and bring isogel) I drop off cards in their mailboxes which was a very exciting outing for me lol. For the ones further away I emailed them and they either printed them selves or hand wrote out their cards. "Each week we have used the theme of the bingo along with decorating area that we are playing in along with hair styles and costumes. We use the zoom app and using a mixer and a good quality mic along with iPhone directly into computer so the sound is great for all playing. Most of the players use their phones and use either Apple TV or a lighting cord to put up on tv so we can see everyone. "We are very lucky my dad was the morning man for the radio station for 35 years plus a dj back in the day so this isolation along with you guys has brought him out of retirement!"
