Some apps are great. I'm not knocking apps, when there is a good reason for it. However, when it comes down to the best DIY Musical Bingo templates, I really do think an application is unnecessary. Why try to get everyone at your event to download an app before play? That doesn't sound easy, right there. When you can just hand out a regular piece of paper, if you wanted to. I can guarantee that's what your guests would prefer. Of course, regular white paper works, but it isn't very festive. Try getting colored paper first, it's usually close to the same price. Then, when you print the cards off your downloaded PDF files, they are perfectly fit on a regular piece of letter paper. Make sure to choose the "landscape" print format setting. That's just a fancy word for horizontal printing. But when you use the cards downloaded from the Fat City Entertainment Trivia Store, that's the way you want to do it. Two cards will fit pretty much perfectly on a single sheet of 8.5" by 11" letter paper. There is some space on the edges that suits nicely as a border. Some hosts prefer to cut the cards in half, and give each guests just the one card, and that's a great choice! Of course, the easiest way is just to give everyone 2 cards each. And yes, it's ok to trim off our www.fatcityentertainment.com promotions at the bottom of the sheet... that's why we put it there, so you have that option. Our musical bingo card downloads can print up to 250 randomized cards each time, and you can select while printing exactly how many sheets you want to print. There should be little to no waste. If you end up having less people than expected show up to your event, no problem. Next time you are using those cards, make sure to save them, and begin printing the NEXT cards in sequence for the following event. That's right, our cards are good to use again and again. When you are printing the "range" of pages on the PDF file, you can choose the exact pages that print by typing in a range, such as, "51 - 100". Make sure not to print the same page twice, otherwise you could have duplicate winners, because each sheet is randomized differently. Also, if you are worried about pollution and waste, which I very much am too, then you should appreciate that paper is one of the fastest biodegradable materials there is. Just check out this study on it. We even make sure that the ink on each sheet is minimal so that your costs at a host are as efficient and inexpensive as possible. I think one of the coolest things about music bingo events is that every host's gig is unique. From the amount of time they DJ a track, to what a winning bingo! looks like to them. Here's a secret hint for those of you who like to read deep into things: You can do 12 unique Bingos! on a single game or card. That's right 12 easy Bingos! and it's one of my favorite ways to host my shows. So what you do is, explain that "Every single line wins once". That means there are 5 Horizontal line winner, and 5 Vertical line winners, as well as, 2 Diagonal line winners.
That means, using one card and one game, you can have 12 unique winners. Make sure to keep track on a separate card of your own so you know which directions have already won. And if 12 winners seems like a lot for a single game, check out the toy section of your local dollar store for key chains and small nick knacks. Or my personal favorite for gifts, depending on your budget, is Five Below for nicer trinkets for your guests than simply the dollar store or a discount on your bar tab.
