Here is complete instructions in how to create your own music trivia DJ night. It's super easy to create and host for friends, family, co-workers, or even great for a bar event! The great thing about a music bingo night is it can be casual or interactive, depending on how you want to host it. And it is beyond easy to create. I'll tell you how! Step 1: Print Off Bingo SheetsOk, maybe I got ahead of myself when I said it was free. But it's not far off. The first tiny expense is paper. I walked down to the UPS store and printed off 200 sheets (100 pages) for about ten bucks. If you have your own printer, you are covered there. Now, you can either use my sheets that I have made right here if you are beyond lazy.. Step 2: DJ Music Playlist On Spotify On Shuffle
Step 3: Pens are cheap, but 'dobbers' are better! There is no doubt, that having something fun in your hand to play with makes everyone excited. Bingo Dobbers (sometimes spelled daubers) are an easy way to improve the quality of your show. I highly recommend adding Bingo Dobbers to your events. This is the same thing as printing on coloured paper. Sure, you can simply use regular white paper. The game will still function the exact same. Of course, it will be better for your guests, and maybe you get more repeat customers, if you take the time to buy a stack of coloured paper first. Try a thicker stock of paper, as well. 60lb paper stock works great. That's it. Easy. Fun. Interactive Entertainment. Please comment below for bonus tips!
I want you all to know that we at Fat City are interested in creating awesome live events first and foremost. If you are interested more in what we do, check out the Trivia Store for downloadable music bingo cards and other party games.

I am interested in getting this started at an over 60 winter resort. I think they would love this! My husband live there because our parents are not in good health. We played back home every week!

Not sure I’m understanding the music on Spotify. If I have game cards for hair bands is there a playlist just for hair bands that you have made on Spotify?

Hi Sherri! That's exactly right. Download and print as many randomized cards as you wish. If you need more than the 60 included, just ask us. There are music playlists on Spotify, Amazon Prime, and Apple Music for you to follow and play on shuffle or by your DJ. Here's the link to the Spotify playlist you spoke about, in case you need it: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3RtVN7kUqxFoh009d61dR5

hi ,, how many song are required for the playlist please ?
Reply
The minimum for a functional game with free space is 24 tracks. Some game creators mimic real bingo with 75 songs. However, I find this is way too many for a fun game for everyone. We test all our games available in the Trivia Store with real audiences. It kind of depends on the game (Tv Themes are short and has 40 songs). Guests get more excited when they get an answer correct more often. So, I'd say 30-35 tracks makes for the best games! Send me an email if you would like to check out a trial game. [email protected]

I am confused. I wanted to host a 70's game night for a girls night. Do I play the music from Spotify and they guess the song and mark it on their bingo cards?

How many songs come with each download? And once I download a playlist, how long do I have to use it? Thanks.

Do you only get Artists on the bingo cards? I was looking for song title and thought you got both.

Hey guys, how do you properly license use of the songs and secure royalty fees for use of the songs in DJ Bingo Trivia? Do you guys go through a particular BPO? I just want to make sure that I don't get hit by ASCAP because I'm not properly licensed to use an artist's song, or not. How do you get permission?

If you are playing music in a commercial setting, it is best to find out about your local licensing options, which vary from different countries. However, if you are playing your games at a local bar or live entertainment venue, they will likely already have music licensing rights taken care of to show bands or sing karaoke. Same thing for music bingo.

I am interested in using your cards for a fundraiser. Can you please give me a price on a 5 pack of games for 100-120 players?

Try selling the cards for the charity for perhaps $1 or even 3 for $10. Grab some small but manageable prizes, then you can download and pass out the games from our "Trivia Store" from the menu. Print (landscape) as many as you require, and Bob's your uncle! Shuffle play music and give out prizes until everyone is satisfied, rinse and repeat!
