Yes — you can pay for anything on this site in cryptocurrency. Game downloads, bundles, the Gold Club, and live event bookings all qualify. There is no separate crypto price and no surcharge: you pay the same amount, just in a different currency.
Which coins? Any coin in the top 100 by market capitalisation. If you hold something mainstream, it is almost certainly accepted — and if you are not sure, ask and we will tell you straight away.
How it works. Email crypto@fatcityentertainment.com with what you want to buy and which coin you would like to pay in. Within 48 hours we reply with the amount in that currency and a wallet address. You send it, we confirm, and your download or booking is on its way.
These are handled by a person, not a payment processor. That is worth knowing up front, because it sets the pace: this is not an instant checkout, and it is not the right route if you need a game in the next ten minutes. Use the normal checkout for that. Crypto is for buyers who would rather pay this way and can wait a day or so for the quote.
No fees from us. We do not add a processing charge. Network fees for the transfer itself are set by the chain you choose, not by us — some are pennies, some very much are not, so pick your coin accordingly.
Refunds. Refunds are issued in the same currency you paid in, valued at the time the refund is agreed rather than at the time you bought. Crypto moves, and that cuts both ways — the amount of coin coming back to you may be more or less than the amount you sent, even though the value at settlement is correct. If that matters to you, the ordinary checkout is the safer option.
